Yiwu Sanxitang TCM Health Center
San Xi, or "three streams", refers to three famous people in Yiwu history: Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) medical expert Zhu Zhenheng in Danxi, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) physician Yu Tianmin in Huaxi and Chen Wujiu (1884-1948) from Huangxi. Yiwu Sanxitang TCM Health Center was launched in 2011 with the approval of local health authorities and is a designated unit for Yiwu’s medical insurance system.
The center has key TCM specialties, such as internal medicine, gynecology, oncology, preventive treatment, dermatology, acupuncture and massage, orthopedics and traumatology, pediatrics, andrology and infertility.
The hospital started an expansion project with the support of the local government in February 2012. The new site is located in Yidong Road and is built in line with the standards of a grade II class A TCM hospital.
Covering 5,548 square meters, it has a floorage of 20,812 sq m with 90 beds. With a total investment of 180 million yuan ($26.94 million), construction finished in December 2015 and the hospital was put into operation in October 2017.
