Yiwu Fuyuan Private Hospital is the first private grade II general hospital in Zhejiang province. 

Since its establishment 28 years ago, it has adhered to the principle of patient-oriented service and developed itself into a respected brand. It has won many honors for its integrity, cultural construction and efforts in innovative reform. 

The hospital has more than 1,000 employees and 880 beds, 15 first-class clinical departments, such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics, and 19 second-class clinical specialties. It runs three premises and 20 wards.

In October 2017, Fuyuan Private Hospital started construction of a geriatric rehabilitation hospital, which will cover 53,000 square meters and have floorage of 168,000 sq m. The project will be completed in October 2020.

Its geriatrics, gastroenterology and minimally invasive gynecology are characteristic disciplines in Zhejiang province. It is an educational base of Anhui Medical University and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, and has established technical cooperation with Zhejiang Hospital, Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM, Women’s Hospital School of Medicine of Zhejiang University, and Hangzhou Women's Hospital.

The hospital is committed to further developing itself into a general hospital with strength in specialties and building five technical centers: cardiac, pulmonary, gastroenterology, cerebropathy and an ultrasound-guided minimally invasive center.
