The 2020 China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair, which was originally planned to run from May 23-26, will now be held at the Yiwu International Center on November 13, according to the organizing committee on April 23.

The decision was made due to concerns about the safety and health of exhibitors and visitors as well as requirements from the State Council.

The organizing committee apologized for the inconvenience and will continue to communicate with exhibitors, registered visitors, and partners.

The China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair, a professional exhibiting platform for imported daily consumer goods, was founded in 2012 and upgraded into a national exhibition in 2015.

Supported by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, the fair focuses on the quality of exhibitors and buyers, provides quality ground services, and has rapidly developed into one of the most effective and promising exhibitions in the industry.

In June 2016, the fair became the first imported commodities fair in China to be approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and was listed among China's Top 10 Most Distinctive Fairs, Zhejiang Top 10 Brand Fairs, and China Top 10 Influential Fairs.

In 2019, the fair attracted more than 119,600 participants, including 488,000 buyers, up 48.41 percent year-on-year. The exhibitors came from 85 countries and regions, including Italy, Germany, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and India.

More than 100,000 kinds of daily supplies, such as crafts, childcare products, clothing, food and beverages, were displayed at the fair.
