As of the end of June, 2,602 Jinhua-based companies had attended online exhibitions, including 577 Jinhua exhibitors at 1,062 digital booths at the 127th Canton Fair held online in June.

Yiwu, a county-level city administered by Jinhua, hosted the China International Electronic Commerce Expo 2020 in June, which attracted 53,000 visitors and 1,038 exhibitors and resulted in 1.12 billion yuan in transactions, a 10.2-percent increase from the previous expo. The 2020 China Yiwu Stationery & Gift Exhibition, held in July, resulted in the domestic sales of 620 million yuan in export-oriented goods.

Jinhua also saw over 1,000 manufacturers begin engaging in cross-border e-commerce in H1. The city's exports in the cross-border e-commerce sector continued to lead all other cities in Zhejiang this year.

Jinhua-based companies have registered over 150,000 accounts on e-commerce platforms Amazon and eBay. A total of 9,921 users of Alibaba.com were based in Jinhua, putting the city at first place in Zhejiang and second in China in this regard.

The city's H1 e-commerce retail exports stood at 19.73 billion yuan, making up 47.6 percent of the provincial total, a higher proportion than any other city in Zhejiang.

To facilitate the export of epidemic-control supplies, Jinhua is helping exporters get listed on the State-approved white list. To date, 22 Jinhua-based exporters of non-medical masks have been included on the white list, more than any other city in Zhejiang. Jinhua's exports of epidemic-control supplies stood at 12.15 billion yuan in H1, up 130 percent year on year. This sector raised the city's export growth rate by 3.7 percentage points.
