According to the official WeChat account of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), this year's first letter of acceptance has been issued to Huang Dengdeng, a Yiwu student who scored 703 on the college entrance examination.

Huang has been a model student since primary school and has been recognized with many honors. She loves football and running. Her father, who is the chairman of the Yiwu Football Association, used to play football with her and even allowed her to compete with boys.

"She has been learning piano and singing for more than 10 years, and obtained a grade-10 certificate of piano in 6th grade. She is very disciplined. During the epidemic, she practiced at home on a daily basis," said Huang's mother.

Huang's dream was to be admitted to SJTU, and the letter was a huge relief to her family. Huang is interested in an IT-related major, as she has some computer programming knowledge. She is looking forward to starting her studies.
