Yiwu's first Wedding Cultural Festival was held at Xiuhu Lake Park on Aug 25.

After a qipao fashion show, eight couples attended a group wedding. Two elderly couples of 50 years and 60 years, respectively, shared their love stories on stage and sent their blessings to the new couples.

The exhibition areas were decorated like ancient streets, showcasing wedding supplies such as quilts, shoes and jewelry boxes. Souvenirs of Yiwu's intangible cultural heritage items such as paper-cuts were also on display.

There was also an area for single audience members to meet with each other and exchange contact information.
