Intl friendship cites exhibition in Yiwu attracts delegates from 24 countries

The 2020 Zhejiang International Friendship Cities Exchange Exhibition came to a close in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province on Nov 16. It proved to be a fruitful event that promoted partnership and exchange.
The exhibition, which was held at the Yiwu International Expo Center, attracted delegates from 32 regions in 24 countries as well as ambassadors from Montenegro, Rwanda, and Nepal.
Zhang Chao, vice-mayor of Yiwu, expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm displayed by guests despite the global pandemic. He promised that Yiwu will seize the opportunity to seek more cooperation with attending cities.
The exhibition included the signing ceremony for an official partnership between Yiwu and Kicukiro district in Kigali, capital of Rwanda.
James Kimonyo, the Rwandan ambassador to China, described the exhibition as an open platform for exchange, investment, and trade.
Following the ceremony was a match-making conference for 30 Yiwu-based enterprises and 15 Canadian counterparts.
