Yiwu's annual disposable income per capita exceeds 70,000 yuan
The disposable income per capita of residents in Yiwu, a county-level city in East China's Zhejiang province, reached 71,210 yuan ($11,023) in 2020, up 4.5 percent from the previous year, according to the latest data from the Yiwu affiliate of the National Bureau of Statistics.
It marked the first time for the annual figure to surpass 70,000 yuan.
The disposable income per capita among Yiwu's permanent urban residents rose 3.9 percent year-on-year to 80,137 yuan in 2020, exceeding 80,000 yuan for the first time, securing its lead among all counties and county-level cities in China for the 14th consecutive year.
The disposable income per capita among Yiwu's permanent rural residents increased by 6.7 percent year-on-year to 42,158 yuan in 2020, surpassing 40,000 yuan for the first time.
Wages and salaries, net business income, as well as net property income respectively accounted for 43.3 percent, 19 percent, and 25.9 percent of Yiwu residents' disposable income last year.
