COVID-19 rules for Spring Festival Travel in various locations (As of Feb 3, 2021)
To Shanghai
For people from or passing through medium-risk areas or the administrative divisions where a medium-risk area is located: a 14-day community health management, 2 nucleic acid tests.
For people from or passing through high-risk areas or the administrative divisions where a high-risk area is located, or areas under closed management: a 14-day isolated quarantine and observation, 2 nucleic acid tests.
*People coming from medium or high-risk areas have to report to the community or company or the hotel they are staying within 12 hours after arrival in Shanghai.
To Nanjing, Jiangsu province
From low-risk areas: maintain self-health management, have their body temperature measured twice a day; people returning to rural areas should report to the village committee they stay in on the arrival day.
From low-risk areas in the administrative divisions where a medium or high-risk area is located: have their body temperature measured twice a day, a negative nucleic acid test report conducted within 7 days; people unable to provide a report should immediately be transferred to designated service sites by tailored vehicle and take a nucleic acid test.
From medium or high-risk areas: people who have left the medium or high-risk areas for 14 days should take a nucleic acid test on the day of being traced and stay home for quarantine until they have been gone from the area for 28 days; returnees should have their body temperature measured twice a day and report to the community during quarantine, and take a nucleic acid test on the day quarantine ends. People who have been gone from one of the above areas for less than 14 days should have an isolated observation until they have been gone for 14 days, during which daily health monitoring and two nucleic acid tests are required. After isolated observation, people should have home quarantine until they have been gone for 28 days, take two nucleic acid tests on the 3rd and 14th days of home quarantine, have their body temperature measured twice a day and report to the community, and stay home as much as possible.
For people engaged in high-risk work such as loading, unloading, handling and transport of imported goods (including cold chain food): a negative nucleic acid test report conducted within 7 days, people unable to provide a report should immediately be transferred to designated service sites and take a nucleic acid test. Returnees should have a 14-day home quarantine and two nucleic acid tests on the 3rd and 14th days of the quarantine. Returnees should also have their body temperature measured twice a day, report to the community, and stay home as much as possible.
