Yiwu to host e-commerce expo

The China International Electronic Commerce Expo 2021 is set to be held at the Yiwu International Expo Center in downtown Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, from April 11-13, the organizers announced at a meeting on March 19.

The organizers include the China International Electronic Commerce Center, the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and the Yiwu municipal government.

This year's expo will feature 2,300 standard exhibition booths occupying 50,000 square meters. There will be eight exhibition zones featuring digital trade, well-known e-commerce platforms, cross-border e-commerce, benchmark enterprises and pilot zones for e-commerce, e-commerce service providers, commercial live-streaming, e-commerce in rural areas, and supply chains for brands.

Two parallel events, the 2021 China International Electronic Commerce Summit and the 2021 World Digital Trade Conference, will also be held at the Yiwu International Expo Center at the same time.

The expo's enrollment of visitors and exhibitors has been nearly completed. Heavyweight global companies such as Amazon, Alibaba, TikTok, Baidu, Shopee, Newegg, and Coupang are among those that will attend the expo.
