Zhejiang China Commodities City Group (CCC), based in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, has completed the construction on a commercial livestreaming base.

The base, which has a floor space of more than 30,000 square meters, is expected to begin trial operations in September.

The livestreaming base will exclusively serve Chinagoods, a CCC-launched online platform which handles business license applications, product presentations, livestreaming sessions and payments. Chinagoods is aimed at helping micro-, small-and medium-sized exporting businesses improve connections with overseas and domestic buyers.

Products to be promoted in the livestreaming base will be selected from more than five million categories of goods sold in 75,000 brick-and-mortar stores, involving imported bonded goods, famous brands from around the world, cost-efficient goods from factory outlets, and discounted leftover stocks of exported goods.

The livestreaming base is equipped with digital tools for livestreaming, livestreaming rooms, and a highly efficient system for warehousing, logistics, and delivery.

It will use various mainstream livestreaming platforms such as Kuaishou, Douyin, Taobao, Pingduoduo, and TikTok.
