Lawson opens 5 new shops in Yiwu

Japan's major convenience store chain Lawson opened five stores in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, on Oct 18.
The Zhejiang branch of Lawson was established in Hangzhou in December 2012. As of Oct 18, the brand has opened over 400 stores in the province.
The convenience store brand sells a host of products including snacks, coffee, cakes, and sushi. Many of its fresh food products are dubbed as "must-try food" on social media.
According to the Zhejiang branch of Lawson, another five Lawson stores will be opened in the next month and at least 35 stores will open in Yiwu in two years.
