Number of professional buyers up 24.6% at annual commodities fair

The 27th China Yiwu Commodities (Standard) Fair concluded in Yiwu, Zhejiang province on Oct 25.
The fair covers an exhibition area of over 110,000 square meters and has 4,000 standard booths for over 2,300 exhibitors.

A total of 104,900 visitors entered the main venue at Yiwu International Expo Center and another 207,000 people viewed the online fair.
Despite the global pandemic, the fair attracted over 57,900 professional buyers, up 24.6 percent year on year.
The fair is an international exhibition for daily consumer goods approved by the State Council, and also a leading event in Yiwu's convention industry.
The fair, which started in 1995 has developed into one of the largest, most influential and most productive commodities fairs in China, and one of the three largest export commodities fairs organized by the Ministry of Commerce.
