Zhejiang city GDP data released

All 11 cities at or above prefecture-level in East China's Zhejiang province recently published their GDP figures for 2021.

Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang, reported a GDP of 1.8109 trillion yuan ($284.67 billion) in 2021, up 8.5 percent over 2020, ranking first among Zhejiang cities and eighth among cities nationwide.

The GDP for Ningbo, the second richest city in Zhejiang, was 1.459 trillion yuan in 2021, up 8.2 percent from the year before and ranking 12th nationwide.

The other nine Zhejiang cities were as follows: Wenzhou (758.5 billion yuan), Shaoxing (679.5 billion yuan), Jiaxing (635.528 billion yuan), Taizhou (578.619 billion yuan), Jinhua (535.544 billion yuan), Huzhou (364.49 billion yuan), Quzhou (187.561 billion yuan), Lishui (171 billion yuan), and Zhoushan (170.362 billion yuan).

The province's GDP as a whole stood at 7.35 trillion yuan in 2021, ranking fourth among provincial-level regions in China.
