A new kind of mineral water from the remote mountains of Lishui, Zhejiang province has been popular among consumers recently at the "Bai Xian Wan Pin" exhibition center in Yiwu.

The "Bai Xian Wan Pin" exhibition center was built by the Yiwu Market Development Group, which displays more than 10,000 types of agricultural and sideline products and handicrafts based on the characteristics of local products and market demand from 301 economically underdeveloped counties and cities across the country. The project is aimed at expanding the market for rural areas and supporting rural revitalization.

In the second half of 2021, the exhibition center established a special area for 26 counties in the mountainous areas of Zhejiang province, including Liandu district and Suichang county in Lishui, and Chun'an county in Hangzhou. As of mid-March this year, the special area has saw sales of 18 million yuan ($2.83 million).

In addition to mineral water, the special area now exhibits over 300 products including mushrooms, organic grains, sweet potato noodles, and camellia oil, as well as vegetables such as corn, long beans, green beans, pumpkins, and eggplants.

Several varieties of camellia oil, corn oil, and sunflower oil produced in Quzhou have sold more than 10,000 barrels in a few days, with total sales exceeding 3.5 million yuan.

These agricultural products have also been promoted to overseas markets through overseas warehouses developed by enterprises in Yiwu.
