The sixth China Yiwu International Hardware and Electrical Appliances Fair kicked off at the Yiwu International Expo Center on July 13.

The three-day fair was hosted by the Yiwu China Commodity City Exhibition Co, aiming to build a platform for hardware and electrical appliances to serve the global trade market.

With a total of 1,600 international standard booths built at the 40,000-sqaure-meter exhibition center, more than 1,200 exhibitors from 15 provinces, cities and regions displayed their products, including hardware tools, construction hardware, electronic appliances, and labor safety supplies. The fair is expected to attract more than 50,000 professionals.

An exhibition area for labor safety products was set up for the first time as well, displaying related products from over 10 enterprises.

The fair also provided an online venue for global exhibitors and buyers to learn about the latest industrial trends and products and carry out matchmaking. The online fair started on June 16 and will run until July 15.

A series of events was held during this period as well, including various matchmaking meetings aimed at various buyers from home and abroad. A total of 49 domestic enterprises connected with 10 overseas buyers during one of the meetings.

Organizers also provided four live broadcasts for high-quality exhibitors in the Pearl River Delta region via online platforms such as WeChat public accounts and Douyin, attracting a total of 128,000 viewers.
