Air Macau to resume flights to Yiwu
Air Macau, the flag carrier of the Macao Special Administrative Region, said it plans to gradually resume more flights between Macao and Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, starting Sept 27 based on market conditions.
Air Macau said it plans to offer its round-trip flights connecting Macao and Yiwu three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The NX167 flight will depart from Yiwu at 5 pm and arrive in Macao at 7:20 pm. The NX168 flight will take off from Macao at 2 pm and arrive in Yiwu at 4 pm.
Passengers travelling between the two places will have to present negative results from a COVID-19 test within 48 hours. Under eased restrictions, travelers will not be required to undergo any hotel quarantine.
With the resumption of major routes and a gradual increase of flights, the carrier said it would help promote economic exchange, personnel communications and cargo flows between Macao and Chinese mainland cities and create favorable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region announced in August that more convenient visa policies have come into effect for expats living in Macao to travel, visit, or carry out business and trade in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone.
