Expats gather in Yiwu for Mid-Autumn Festival

Over 100 expats living in Jincheng Community, Houzhai sub-district, Yiwu gathered for a party on Sept 9 to mark this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the second most important Chinese festival after the Spring Festival.

The event featured various Chinese intangible cultural heritage items, such as tie-dye and paper lanterns, to show the beauty of traditional culture.

Luna, an 11-year-old girl born in Columbia, expressed her joy at making new friends, wearing tradition Chinese clothes and eating delicious food such as mooncakes.

Luna also heard the fairy tale about Chang'e flying to the moon, saying that it's a beautiful story.
