Yiwu in East China's Zhejiang province, dubbed the world's largest small commodities hub, is planning to open China's first new energy product market, local media outlets reported.
The market will be located to the east of Area F of Yiwu International Trade Market Area 2 and next to the Yiwu International Trade Market subway station. Within the 131,000 square-meter market, the first and second floors will be able to host a total of 490 shops and the fourth and fifth floors will be parking lots.
The new market has upgraded from traditional styles by applying several advanced facilities and digital services, such as full 5G coverage, big data analysis, internet of things, artificial intelligence, and chain blocks, helping realize intelligent market services, operation, and property management.
"The market boasts the high concentration of new energy products, which frees customers from searching out these products from a sea of traditional industrial classifications," said a director of the new market.
Merchants and manufacturers who are interested can register from Sept 16 to Oct 10 via the online platform of Chinagoods.
