The 25th China University Basketball Association League (Southern Division) opened at the Meihu Lake Sports Center in Yiwu on April 6.

This is the first time the CUBAL commenced in Yiwu.

The league features 16 teams from universities including Zhejiang University and Huaqiao University.

The teams were divided into four groups and will play 52 games.

The top four teams will compete for the national championship.

The Chinese University Sports Association has been organizing the China University Basketball Association League since 1998. Every year, more than one billion people watch live broadcasts of matches through television and online platforms.
