Yiwu authorities hold SMEs development forum in South Korea

The Yiwu-South Korean Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Trade Promotion Forum was held in Seoul, South Korea on April 17.
Over 50 government authorities and entrepreneurs from Yiwu met with representatives from South Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Wang Wei, deputy mayor of Yiwu, said during the forum that Yiwu has over 900,000 registered market entities, many of which are SMEs.
Yiwu's total foreign trade volume reached 478.8 billion yuan ($69.54 billion) in 2022, with SMEs being a major contributor to this achievement.

Wang pointed out that SMEs also play an important role in Sino-South Korean economic and trade relations.
He also expressed hope that SMEs from Yiwu and South Korea would use the forum to enhance industry exchanges, explore cooperation, and promote trade.
