The Nepal E-Commerce Livestreaming Institute was officially unveiled in Yiwu, China on April 18.
The institute is a joint initiative by the Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College and the Nepal World Culture Net to provide Nepalese youths and small and medium-sized enterprise owners with the opportunity to learn e-commerce livestreaming skills.

The opening ceremony was attended by about 200 people, including Fan Yao, vice-president of the Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College, Dipak Sarkar, chairman of Nepal World Culture Net, and Bishnu Prasad Dumaru, director of the Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce in Yiwu.
Sarkar hailed the institute as a positive attempt to strengthen youth exchanges between the two countries.
Dumaru said that he will work with the institute to contribute to the economic development, educational exchanges, and youth entrepreneurship of China and Nepal.
The Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College has set up several international education and training platforms, including the Malaysia Yiwu Silk Road College and the Spain Yiwu Silk Road College, to provide skills training for youths from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
