Nigerien Ambassador to China Garba Seyni visited Yiwu in East China's Zhejiang province from May 9 to 12.

Garba Seyni thanked Yiwu for its warm reception and talked about Niger's advantages and characteristics. He hopes the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in various fields and make greater contributions to exchanges between the two countries.

Wang Wei, deputy mayor of Yiwu, introduced Yiwu's economic and social development in terms of exhibitions, logistics, youth entrepreneurship, and business environment. He said he hopes that this visit will further promote cooperation between Yiwu and Niger in economic trade and cultural exchanges.

During their stay in Yiwu, the ambassador's delegation also visited the foreign affairs office of Yiwu and held talks with Wu Dan, Party chief of the office.

Wu welcomed Niger to participate in various exhibitions in Yiwu and introduce more high-quality products. The ambassador talked about cooperation between Niger and China in infrastructure, agriculture, resources, trade and other fields.

Both sides also talked about issues faced by Nigerien living in Yiwu regarding employment, entrepreneurship, and life.
