Students from 30 classes became representatives of 30 different Asian countries and regions at Yiwu Donghe Primary School in Yiwu on June 1.
To welcome the upcoming Asian Games, the school organized the "Children's Asian Games", which featured the official flag, emblem, mascots, and slogan of the current Asian Games. Various formations and parades were used to explain the history of the Asian Games.
Among the numerous formations was the "United Nations Formation" composed of 37 foreign students from Yiwu Maple Leaf School.
Children from 15 different countries and regions such as Colombia, the United States, Germany, India, Tunisia, and Egypt held hands and laughed together with local children from Yiwu.
The school also held a carnival called "Children's Vision of Asia, Touring 24 Countries" on the same day. Students held their "little passports" and spent the day visiting the 24 "pavilions" set up at the school representing the countries participating in the Asian Games.
