Multilingual livestreaming attracts attention at China International Electronic Commerce Expo

The Multilingual Cross-Border E-commerce Livestreaming Center of Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College made its first appearance at the 2023 China International Electronic Commerce Expo on June 15.
The livestreaming center featured four teams conducting live broadcasts and on-site coverage in English, Spanish, and Japanese, captivating a large number of on-site visitors who paused to watch the broadcasts.
Seventeen companies expressed their intention to cooperate with Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College, while 28 companies expressed their desire to recruit cross-border e-commerce livestreaming talent from the college. Moreover, over 30 enterprises expressed strong interest in attending cross-border e-commerce training sessions offered by the college.
Leveraging its rich language advantages and professional foreign trade resources, Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College collaborates with enterprises through modern apprenticeship programs to establish cross-border e-commerce livestreaming bases.
In recent years, faculty and student teams have engaged in livestreaming activities on cross-border e-commerce platforms such as TikTok, using fluent English, Spanish, and Japanese to teach about foreign trade.
