Yiwu promoted at Hong Kong & Macao-Zhejiang Week
Wang Jian, Party secretary of Yiwu, participated in the 2023 Hong Kong & Macao-Zhejiang Week event from June 25 to 28, fostering friendship, discussing cooperation, and envisioning the future.
During his visit, Wang talked about Yiwu's economic and social development and business and investment environment, as well as the 29th Yiwu Fair and the Global Trade Center project.
Wang stated that Yiwu possesses the world's largest wholesale market for small commodities.
In recent years, Yiwu has embraced a development model that combines online and offline efforts, focusing on promoting the digital transformation of the market and working to build a sixth-generation market represented by the Global Trade Center.
The Global Trade Center, based on the three main themes of new trade, new landmarks, and new markets, leverages the support functions of Yiwu's Chinagoods platform to establish a one-stop service platform for small commodity trade.
The 29th Yiwu Fair, with the tagline "Developing New Markets, Serving New Trade, and Embarking on a New Journey," is expected to have a positive influence. Wang invited friends from all sectors in Hong Kong to come to Yiwu to exhibit products and explore the city.
Throughout the event, contracts were signed for three projects, including the Yiwu China (Yiwu)-Vietnam Industrial Demonstration Park, the Yiwu Global Trade Center Hong Kong Pavilion, and the Yiwu Global Trade Center Macao Portuguese-Speaking Countries Pavilion.
