A delegation from Yiwu recently embarked on a productive visit to Shanghai.

Led by Wu Dan, director of the foreign affairs office of Yiwu, the delegation met officials including Bertrille Snoeijer from the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Shanghai, Augusto Pestana, consul general of Brazil in Shanghai, and Inty Mendoza, chief representative of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the State of São Paulo, Brazil.

Wu provided comprehensive overviews of Yiwu's dynamic market development, flourishing e-commerce logistics sector, competitive industries, and favorable business environment.

The Yiwu delegation also attended a reception hosted by the US Consulate General in Shanghai. Wu exchanged views with James Heller, the US consul general in Shanghai, seeking to forge closer ties between Yiwu and the United States.

During the reception, Wu talked with officials from countries including Chile, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, who received invitations to visit Yiwu.
