Yiwu in East China's Zhejiang province has been optimizing exit and entry services to attract more international entrepreneurs to the city, local media reported on July 26.

Located at 288 Futian Road, the International Trade Service Center's entry and exit hall always sees a steady influx of foreign nationals.

Despite the crowd, the hall maintains a well-organized order. Staff members at various service windows catering to foreign nationals can communicate proficiently in English.

When applying for a visa extension, foreign nationals fill out the form based on the samples on their desks, along with other necessary documents. They then proceed to the "Foreigners' Consultation Pre-approval" window according to their designated numbers for pre-approval.

Once everything is verified, they return to their seats and patiently await the voice prompt to proceed to the "Foreigners' Work Residency" specialized window. Here, the staff rechecks the submitted documents, and after this final verification, the application process is mostly complete, taking approximately 30 minutes in total.

Local authorities said they have achieved a fully streamlined online one-stop application system, reducing the need for multiple in-person visits. The processing time for obtaining certificates has been reduced from 30 days to five days.
