The Yiwu postal administration announced recently that the cumulative express delivery volume in Yiwu surpassed a milestone of 5 billion parcels on July 11.

This feat was achieved 90 days earlier than the city's first instance of hitting 5 billion parcels in 2020, and 15 days earlier than in 2022, setting yet another record.

Since June, driven by the impact of mid-year promotions on e-commerce platforms, Yiwu has experienced its first peak in express delivery activity this year.

From June 1 to 18, the city's express delivery volume reached 672 million parcels, representing a year-on-year growth of 8.04 percent. The "618 Shopping Festival" was the highest peak with 35.55 million parcels shipped on a single day.

Yiwu currently boasts 73 express delivery entities with international operating qualifications.
