Yiwu promotes city's influence in Jeju, South Korea

Yiwu was the focus of attention at the "Asia-Pacific Cultural and Urban Development Enhancement Seminar" held in Jeju Special Self-Governing province, South Korea from July 31 to Aug 4.

The event aimed to foster discussions on "Culture as Powerful Fuel for Building a Sustainable City."

Yiwu utilized promotional videos to introduce its distinct characteristics, urban culture and tourism, and its stature as a historical hub hailed as both the "Homeland of Culture" and the global hub for small commodities.

The presentation encapsulated the essence of "Yiwu Spirit," characterized by diligence, integrity, and courage, while also showcasing the unique charm instilled by the city's intangible cultural heritage.

The event also spotlighted the 18th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Fair, underscoring its professional, market-oriented, and brand-focused approach. The promotion also extended invitations to participate in the 9th Asia-Pacific Regional Members' Meeting of the World Urban Campaign, scheduled for November 2023 in Yiwu.
