Tuma Enes, legal representative of Lenta Trading Co, a company jointly established by Enes and his Chinese partner Xu Hangfei, received the business license for the one millionth market entity in Yiwu on Aug 16.

Yiwu is now the first county-level city in Zhejiang province to surpass one million operating market entities.

Enes expressed his gratitude, stating, "I have been doing business in Yiwu for nine years, and this new company primarily focuses on cross-border trade in clothing. It took just a day after submitting my application materials to receive the business license."

Lenta Trading Co is the third company established by Enes in Yiwu since he arrived in 2010.

Over the years, his confidence in the Chinese market has increased. He said, "Since April, we have shipped products in 20 containers. I established a factory in Fotang town, Yiwu, and our order backlog extends all the way to the end of the year."

Yiwu was one of the first county-level cities in Zhejiang to obtain authority to register foreign investment. It is also the first city in the country to have a coexistence of permanent institutions and foreign-funded operating entities, making it a leader in the nurturing of foreign-funded businesses.

In December 2022, Yiwu introduced ten new measures aimed at optimizing the international business environment and services for foreigners.

This year alone, 798 foreign-funded operating entities have been established in the city, a remarkable year-on-year growth of 166.89 percent. The city is currently home to 8,836 foreign-funded operating entities.
