The hotel was founded by the Sanding Holding Group and designed by the world-renowned hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates. It is managed by New Century Hotels and Resorts, China's biggest private hotel chain.

It is adjacent to the Yiwu International Trade City. Guests at the hotel can enjoy picturesque views of Futian Wetland Park. It has 503 rooms, more than 1,500 seats in eight restaurants with many different styles of food, a 700-square-meter banquet hall and other entertainment facilities.
