Yiwu International Commodities attract buyers in Indonesia

A promotional event for the 29th China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair was held at the Jakarta International Expo Center in Indonesia on Aug 24.
During the event, representatives from the China Yiwu International Commodities Fair committee highlighted the essential aspects of the 29th fair and extended invitations to Indonesian guests and entrepreneurs.
"Our exhibition not only boasts a diverse range of products but also complements market segments. We cover both domestic and international markets, online and offline channels, traditional and emerging industries, mass consumption, and niche demands," they said.
Indonesian guests and entrepreneurs at the scene also viewed promotional videos showcasing Yiwu city and the fair. The attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on leveraging various exhibition platforms to enhance mutual trade and commerce.
As the fourth most populous country in the world, Indonesia has been maintaining a steady economic growth rate of 5 percent. In 2022, its GDP reached $1.28 trillion.
The China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair was established in 1995, and the 29th edition is scheduled to take place from October 21 to 24, 2023 at the Yiwu International Expo Center.
The fair will have an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and feature 3,600 international standard booths across nine pavilions. With over 2,000 participating companies, the fair is expected to attract more than 120,000 visitors.
