Yiwu Dental Hospital's new facility, located at 468 Xicheng Road, Beiyuan subdistrict, Yiwu, opened on Aug 28.

Founded in December 1991, Yiwu Dental Hospital is a prominent public dental hospital dedicated to diagnosis, treatment, prevention, healthcare, and scientific research related to oral diseases.

Construction on the new hospital was initiated in July 2020 and began operating on December 22, 2022.

The hospital spans an impressive area of 5,392.12 square meters, with a total built-up area of 14,469.51 square meters. It boasts a comprehensive setup with 110 dental chairs and 20 inpatient beds.

Jinling Shi, director of the hospital, said that the facility is equipped with seven clinical departments, including General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Oral Orthodontics, Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Oral Preventive Healthcare. The hospital's future plans include expanding the number of outpatient dental chairs to 72.

Yiwu Dental Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art clinical treatment equipment, including digital panoramic machines, painless anesthesia devices, and second-generation ultrasonic bone scalpel technology, enabling the provision of advanced international oral diagnosis and treatment services.
