The launch ceremony of the Yiwu China Commodity City RCEP Silk Road Express and the opening ceremony of the Fulfillment by China Commodities City (FBC) warehouse were held in Yiwu on Sept 6.
FBC is a global fulfillment delivery system with the China Commodity City brand. The warehouse will help connect China with the world, bridging the gap between online and offline and providing full-range logistics services to traders.
During the subsequent warehouse opening ceremony, Yiwu and the operation team from Malaysia were connected via a live broadcast. Together, they celebrated the opening, marking the simultaneous launch of FBC domestic warehouses and overseas warehouses.
The opening of the dedicated Philippines route is the starting point of tripartite cooperation and will enable deliveries from Yiwu to the Philippines in just 10 days. In the future, the Silk Road Express will set sail for more Southeast Asian regions, including Thailand and Indonesia.
The Yiwu Northeast International Logistics Market, covering an area of 390,000 square meters, is currently under construction, with plans to establish overseas warehouses in the Middle East, Europe, South America, and other regions in the future.
