Dubai, UAE - the promotional event for the 29th China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair – was recently held in Dubai.

"This year's exhibition offers a wide range of products that cover both domestic and international markets, online and offline channels, traditional and emerging industries, and mass consumption," said Jin Yafei, general manager of Yiwu China Commodity City Exhibition Co.

The 29th China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair is scheduled to take place in Yiwu from Oct 21 to 24. It boasts an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and will feature over 2,400 participating companies with a total of 3,700 international standard booths.

The fair will consist of nine halls, including one themed hall and eight commodity trade halls. The exhibited products will span various categories, including daily consumer goods, sports and outdoor leisure products, toys, cultural and office supplies, electromechanical machinery, hardware tools, building hardware, electronics, and electrical appliances.

The fair will also host numerous innovative supporting activities to facilitate business exchanges and cooperation, expecting to attract over 120,000 buyers.

As the world's largest wholesale market for small commodities, Yiwu offers a staggering array of more than 2.1 million products across 26 major categories. It engages in trade with 233 countries and regions globally and has established 210 overseas warehouses in 50 countries. Its logistics network spans over 700 major cities worldwide, with more than 560,000 overseas buyers visiting Yiwu annually. The city is also home to 15,000 foreign residents.
