In the first eight months of this year, the postal and courier industry in Yiwu saw a staggering 7.19 billion parcel deliveries, a 15.6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Among these, courier service providers, excluding postal package services, contributed significantly with a cumulative total of 6.55 billion parcels delivered, a 14.1 percent year-on-year growth.

For the month of August alone, Yiwu's postal and courier industry achieved a remarkable milestone with 1.02 billion parcels delivered, reflecting an astounding 55.7 percent surge in comparison to August of the previous year. Of these deliveries, courier services accounted for 940 million parcels, up 55.1 percent year-on-year.
