Asian Games commemorative stamps released in Yiwu

Commemorative stamps for the Hangzhou Asian Games were released in Yiwu, Zhejiang province on Sept 23.

This set of stamps, consisting of two pieces, features the official emblem and mascot of the games. A total of 7.83 million sets of stamps are planned for issuance, with 885,000 sheets in the second edition.

The stamp set adopts a continuous design format, with the two stamps depicting the official emblem and mascot of the Asian Games as the main images.

Below these images are the core graphics and color system of the Hangzhou Asian Games, integrating Chinese color culture and the unique characteristics of Hangzhou. The design is concise, vibrant, and highlights the theme.

The Hangzhou 19th Asian Games are scheduled to take place from Sept 23 to Oct 8. This edition of the Asian Games features a total of 40 major sports, 61 sub-disciplines, and 481 minor events, categorized into four main types: competitive, ball sports, combat, and water sports.

E-sports and breakdancing are being officially included as competitive events in the Hangzhou Asian Games for the first time.
