Yiwu tourism market booms during holiday

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Yiwu's tourist attractions welcomed 1.05 million visitors, an increase of 30.63 percent compared to the previous year. This surge in tourism contributed to a total revenue of 46.83 million yuan ($6.42 million).
The Yiwu International Trade Market, the nation's first 4A-level scenic spot with a shopping and tourism theme, was especially popular.
It hosted 335,000 visitors during the holiday, and a wide array of daily necessities and imported goods saw strong sales.
The market extended its opening hours until 9:00 pm, offering an extensive selection of over 150,000 imported products from more than 100 countries and regions.
Fotang Ancient Town, another prominent tourist destination, welcomed 380,000 visitors during the holiday period. The bustling Fotang historic block, stretching over 2,000 meters, was abuzz with a continuous stream of people.
Lizu village stood out with its captivating locale and more than 50 market stalls. It also featured daily concerts and theatrical performances and attracted 110,000 visitors over the holiday.
