A group of over 10 exchange students from Wenzhou-Kean University recently visited Yiwu.
“Lizu village exceeded my expectations and I witnessed how it gradually modernized. It's an ancient town, and many people should come here to learn about its culture," said Sandro, an exchange student at Wenzhou-Kean University.
In the afternoon, the group went to the Yiwu International Trade Market. In the cultural and creative exhibition area, Mariia, a Wenzhou-Kean University international student from Russia, immersed herself in Chinese calligraphy and traditional tea art.
"This is the largest shopping center I've ever seen. In Russia, many Chinese-made products are sold, and many Russians buy them," said Mariia, who is studying communications at the university. She added that this visit has significantly benefited her professional studies.
Wenzhou-Kean University is the only Sino-American cooperative university in Zhejiang province. Over its twelve years of operation, the university has helped more than 3,300 students enter the international arena, with nearly 70 percent of graduates being admitted to renowned universities worldwide for further studies.
