Over 2,200 Yiwu companies attend CIIE

The sixth China International Import Expo commenced in Shanghai on Nov 5, attracting more than 2,200 companies based in Yiwu, a city renowned for its small commodities market.

The CIIE has garnered interest from 128 countries and regions, witnessing over 3,400 exhibitors and an astounding 394,000 professional attendees. More than 750 trade delegations have registered to participate, a historic high.

Spanning an exhibition area of approximately 367,000 square meters, this year's CIIE features 289 of the world's top 500 companies and industry leaders, more than in any previous edition.

The CIIE 2023 promises to showcase over 400 new products, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative services. Highlights include advanced medical devices, groundbreaking pharmaceuticals, low-carbon energy equipment, intelligent industrial machinery, new energy vehicles, and high-tech beauty products.

The expo will feature global premieres, Asian debuts, and first-ever displays in China, underscoring the spirit of innovation and progress that characterizes the global marketplace.
