The 2023 Kayou Yiwu Half Marathon will start at 8 am on Nov 25 at the Meihu Sports Center in Yiwu, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, according to a news conference held on Nov 20.

Basic information and highlights of the marathon, organization progress, and some specific preparations were shared at the conference.

The event will be broadcast on CCTV-5, a sports channel, and the beauty of Yiwu will be showcased to audiences across the country.

This year's marathon has attracted more participants than ever. It only took three days for 15,000 people from 28 countries and regions to sign up.

The marathon offers a bigger prize this year than in previous years. In addition to increasing the number and size of awards for the half-marathon, it also has a Chinese athlete award, citizen award and running team award.

The uniforms and medals for the marathon debuted at the conference.

After the conference, Bao Hua, Party secretary of the Yiwu Transportation Tourism Industry Development Group, the organizer of the marathon, granted a license to the title sponsor, Zhejiang Kayou Animation Co Ltd.
