The virtual exhibition hall of the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Complex in Yiwu, Zhejiang province opened to the public on Dec 2.
Located on the first floor of the Yiwu Small Commodities Market, the 1,400-square-meter exhibition hall presents a panoramic view of the global digital trade complex using a combination of "realistic sand table + layered model + multimedia large screen".
Dubbed "the sixth generation of Yiwu market", the 1.25-million-square-meter global digital trade complex will cost 8.3 billion yuan ($1.17 billion) to build and will consist of markets, office buildings, commercial areas, and apartments; it will even be controlled by a digital brain.
The global digital trade complex will be committed to creating a one-stop digital trade service mode covering government services, business services, and life services, according to authorities.
