The Yiwu-Manila international freight route has entered a new stage with four flights per week, with one flight scheduled every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday since Dec 3, according to local media reports.
The regular operation of the Manila freight route will provide Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce with a more convenient, efficient, and diverse air logistics channel, said a local official.
The official added that Yiwu will strengthen cooperative partnership with major hub airports in China, and expand the "direct routes + cooperative routes" network for RCEP air cargo transportation, striving to become a more comprehensive, efficient, and service-oriented air cargo port.
Yiwu has built a logistics network in the direction of Southeast Asia, including the China-Laos freight train and domestic logistics radiating to Southeast Asia, including Guangdong, Guangxi, and other areas.
