Lingjiao village in Houzhai subdistrict, Yiwu, Zhejiang province has in recent years been exploring ways to achieve common prosperity.

For example, the village has tapped into its natural resources to establish a camping site, a fishing farm, and a children's adventure playground to provide an idyllic getaway to those looking to get closer to nature.

Authorities have also converted an abandoned pavilion into a place where wood-fired ovens are provided to those who prefer to cook dishes in a traditional way.

Fang Jianshan, the village's Party secretary, said that these facilities will attract more urban residents on weekends and provide a stable source of income for the village's collective economy.

Fang added that the facilities will create more jobs for residents, which will be key to increasing their incomes and sense of happiness.
