The first cross-year International Animation, Comic and Game Industry Expo will be held at the Yiwu International Expo Center from Dec 30 to Jan 1, 2024.

The expo covers 20,000 square meters and features various special areas with themes such as Chinese animation culture and derivative products.

The expo has attracted more than 50 animation and game enterprises and will feature interactive game areas. Some enterprises will also hold official activities and sell related products in limited quantities.

During the expo, a historical series of animated films will also be shown, and various large-scale derivative products will be displayed and sold. Meanwhile, the audience can also enjoy modified cars featuring animations and game character images up close.

The expo is aimed at upgrading Yiwu's industrial structure and making Yiwu a new hub of cultural creativity, animation and games. 

The Market Development Commission of Yiwu has also introduced new exhibitions themed on gifts, sports, industry, and pets this year, and has held 51 professional exhibitions in total, attracting 2,786 enterprises and 160,000 buyers, generating 1.42 billion yuan ($199.25 million) in trade.
