Yiwu Art Museum opens

The opening ceremony of the Yiwu Art Museum was held on the afternoon of Dec 27, and the exhibition will last until March 27, 2024, offering a new space for people to enjoy art and culture.

The Yiwu Art Museum is a comprehensive art museum, covering a total area of about 13,500 square meters, with five exhibition halls and other facilities. It was designed by the Tongji University Architectural Design Institute, with a hexagonal shape and a modern appearance.

A special exhibition was held at the opening, featuring more than 180 Zhejiang-themed art works created by three generations of artists from China. The exhibition shows the history, reality and future of Zhejiang, as well as the province’s achievements.

According to the person in charge of the museum, the Yiwu Art Museum will collect, store, and exhibit art, carry out academic research and educate people on art works.
