The 2024 China Yiwu International Auto and Motorcycle Parts Fair kicked off on March 13 at the Yiwu International Expo Center. More than 800 companies from over 20 provinces and cities across China are participating in the expo, which is expected to draw over 35,000 buyers.

Exhibitors unanimously cited Yiwu's global reputation as the largest small commodity distribution hub, its efficient logistics networks, and its substantial foreign resident population of over 21,000 as reasons for participating. Additionally, Yiwu's robust manufacturing infrastructure and strong foreign trade capabilities were highlighted.

Participants such as Jinan Fudas Automotive Trading Co Ltd are keen to expand their export volumes and establish connections with international market partners. The expo provides a crucial platform for reaching out to potential clients.

Tanzanian merchant Jimmy emphasized the importance of Chinese enterprises in the development of Tanzania's infrastructure, which has spurred demand for automotive spare parts. He expects to procure a substantial amount of goods, particularly spare parts for trucks, at the expo.

Spanning three exhibition halls covering 30,000 square meters and boasting over 1,300 booths, the expo showcases a wide array of automotive components and new energy vehicle parts. Collaborations with local auto repair shops and substantial subsidies for purchasing merchants enhance the event's appeal.

Organizers have actively invited foreign buyers, with an estimated 18,000 people from over 50 countries and regions expected to participate. The expo underscores Yiwu's commitment to revitalizing its exhibition industry and promoting economic recovery.

With seven exhibitions planned for March alone, Yiwu's efforts are poised to drive development across various related sectors, including markets, catering, accommodation, transportation, and tourism, underscoring the city's significance as a hub for trade and commerce.
