Two major exhibitions open simultaneously in Yiwu

The 6th Yiwu Influencer Livestreaming Exhibition commenced on April 7, with over 100 top anchors from platforms like Douyin and Kuaishou streaming live and daily transaction volumes expected to surpass 35 million yuan ($4.83 million). The inaugural China Yiwu Eyewear Exhibition kicked off simultaneously.

Zhejiang Shoulashou Supply Chain Management Co Ltd boasted the largest booth at the livestreaming expo. Exhibitors from across the country provided goods to be promoted via livestream, including top international brands like Snoopy and Disney, as well as factories from various cities.

Shanghai Tongjian Optical Technology Co Ltd introduced the Lamborghini co-branded eyewear series, combining Chinese manufacturing craftsmanship with international brands, attracting many buyers.

The two exhibitions attracted over 1,000 pre-registered foreign visitors and an estimated 20,000 professional buyers on opening day. The 6th Yiwu Influencer Livestreaming Exhibition covered an area of 10,000 square meters and showcased over 20,000 new products, while the China Yiwu Eyewear Exhibition spanned 10,000 sq m and had over 10,000 new products on display.

The exhibitions serve as economic bellwethers, effectively driving the development of the exhibition-related industry and supporting a complete exhibition service industrial chain in Yiwu. In the first quarter of this year, Yiwu hosted eight commercial exhibitions, achieving a strong start for the exhibition economy.
