The 55th Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, an influential beauty event, recently concluded in Italy, offering a platform for beauty enterprises to expand their global presence. The event drew over 3,000 companies from 69 countries, including 26 enterprises from Yiwu.

Zhejiang Yanxue Cosmetics Co Ltd, a leader in Yiwu's cosmetics sector, showcased over 100 new products, mainly color cosmetics, tailored to Western market preferences. The company's strong R&D and production capabilities have made it a favorite among European and American customers, with a constant stream of new products each month.

The general manager of Zhejiang Yanxue Cosmetics remarked, "The exhibition primarily served to maintain existing relationships, and resulted in several orders. We've also met new clients and plan to invite them for factory visits." The company is preparing for more international fairs and aims to explore new markets involved in the Belt and Road initiative.

Yiwu's cosmetics industry, recently named China's Cosmetics (Color Makeup) Base by the China Light Industry Federation, is leveraging its robust industrial chain to integrate with global markets and promote local brands internationally.

By March's end, Yiwu had sent eight trade delegations with representatives from 412 enterprises overseas. The city's commerce bureau plans to build on this momentum, aiming to involve over 1,500 enterprises in international exhibitions to sustain foreign trade growth throughout the year.
